New insights on the diversity of the family Chaerilobuthidae Lourenço & Beigel, 2011 with the description of one new genus and species (Scorpiones)
Abstract
A new contribution is proposed to the knowledge of the family Chaerilobuthidae Lourenço & Beigel, 2011, originally described from Early Cretaceous Burmite. With the descriptions of one new genus and one new species the diversity of this family, previously composed of the single genus Chaerilobuthus, is improved. The family Chaerilobuthidae remains one of the most speciose groups among those already known from Burmite.
