Studies on spider nomenclature – I: miscellaneous notes on unrecognisable species, new synonyms, and untenable subspecies (Araneae: Araneomorphae)

Abstract

Miscellaneous notes on the nomenclature of spiders are presented, resultant are: 6 new synonymies; 7 subspecies raised to, and 2 restored to, species level; 40 taxa are proposed as nomina dubia; 1 subspecies is declared a subspecies inquirenda, and 112 species described based on juvenile type material are proposed as species inquirendae.
